The PitsPreviously throughout the isles, The Pits were various areas through the islands where people went to watch gladiatorial style combat between slaves, convicts, and the other dregs of society. In modern times, there are only a few smaller pits on many islands with only one of the originally large pit locations still running. They are, sadly, still very popular, but the formation of Kirigakure has slowed their business considerably.
