Set sighed as he walked up to the local avery. He owed his new master Alkaid a life debt which he could never repay but why was she sticking him to grunt work like sending letters off for her. She’d said something about chakra signatures and how she wasn’t stupid enough to give a rival intellegance agency hers. In essence she’d had him put something in the mailbox instead of doing it herself so that it couldn’t be traced back to her.
Quickly penning out the letter using the words Alkaid had told him to write attached the message to the shadow sparrow’s leg and sent it off. He’d check back later to see if they got a response and then afterwards they’d bounce from town as Alkaid apparently usually did just to be on the safe side.

- Letter to Mockingbird:
- Yo what up birds!
I’m looking for a way to bring back this really powerful dead dude but not sure where to start. I don’t have his body but I do have some of his blood which could be used to grow a clone or something. All we’d need to do is find a really sick doctor if you know what I mean and some way to call his soul back from the other side and shove it in the empty husk.
You guys are supposed to know everything so you must be able to at least give me a lead on this right? I don’t have any money to pay you with directly but this dude is a former kage and I’m sure he’d be VERY grateful for your services in returning him to the land of the living.
