Appearance:
Mango is somewhat tall, standing around 170 cm. She weights a bit more than one might expect looking at her, at 67 kg, but this is due to the surprising amount of muscle that she has hidden under her clothing. While not an excessive amount, her body shows the effort of her years of manual labor. Despite this her physique remains feminine, and any comments to the contrary will receive a punch in the teeth.
Her hair is a bright orange, dropping down in length to her shoulders. She usually has it held together in a side pony tail to the left, and otherwise just allows here hair to do as it naturally pleases. Her hair has a smooth quality, although this natural smoothness can sometimes disappear if she fails to shower or take proper care of her hair.
While not her true name, Mango got her 'Mango' name from her eyes. Both being a light orange, they're often compared to being the same color as the inside of a mango. This is a nickname she adopted quickly, and now considered it to be her name as much as her birth name is.
History:
Mango, coming from no clan or family of significant, was not born as a shinobi. Rather than being trained as a young child, she was instead sent to work in the mines. Children were in high demand at the time, as their smaller bodies allowed them to more easily climb down mind shafts and reach into places that adults would not be able to. This is how she would spend the majority of her childhood, working in Iwagakure's chakra metal mines.
Her life would settle into this routine early on, and she would accept that this would be her life.
This continued for a decade, until she was no longer a child and now a young woman. Even as she had matured she would continue to work in the mines, although this would come to a swift end as the Land of Fire invaded and conquered her homeland. The disruption would uproot her, and the mine where she had spent the last ten years would temporarily close. Quickly needing to find a new source of income, Mango would seek out whatever opportunity she could find. This manifested in a large variety of odd jobs at first, until she would finally settle down as a shinobi in training. While normally she would be considered far too old to become a shinobi at her age the years that she had spent digging up that special chakra draining metal had imbued her body with a special ability. The shinobi of Konoha would take her in, doing their best to instill some values and skill into her.
This would quickly change again. Konoha would collapse, only four or so years following their invasion of Iwagakure. She had become a genin during this time, but in the chaos she had been uprooted again. Unwilling to die in the chaos for a homeland that wasn't her own, and unsure even of who to fight if she had decided to die, Mango would find herself a refugee.
Now with shinobi training, it wouldn't be as hard to find a new living. She would spend a small amount of time as a wandering mercenary, making whatever money she could to support herself, until she would end up in the Land of Lighting.
Personality:
Mango has a strong preference for onions and garlic, and other similar flavors. When eating she prefers to load her food up with both, or even eat them on their own. It isn’t that uncommon to see her pull out a full onion from somewhere and then take a full bite out of it. The smell isn’t something she seems to notice, and the normal quality of onions to make people cry is something she is somehow immune to. Her tastes in foods extend to hearty stews and hotpots as well, no matter the kind. Whether it be Chanko Nabe, Sukiyaki, Yosen Naki, or anything else, Mango will happily eat as much of it as possible with a smile. Cooking is something she enjoys as well, although whatever she cooks tends to be overly saturated in the flavor of onions or garlic, or other equally strong and pungent flavors. This cooking hobby is something she taught herself out of a desire to a quicker pathway to filling her stomach, but at the same time she occasionally holds idle thoughts about getting married and becoming a housewife. While the idea of a lifestyle like that is foregin to her it does hold some appeals, and she would like to be prepared if the time ever came.
Her sense of smell is exceptionally poor, or perhaps it’s just that she so often spends time around onions and garlic that it’s effectively made her tune out these smells. Another factor could be how often she gets filthy. Due to her upbringing being one of hard labor before transfering over to the life of a shinobi, Mango has a habit of working herself hard. It’s not uncommon for her to be covered in sweat and caked mud after training with her doton techniques. Being an altogether outdoors gal, Mango enjoys hunting in her spare time when she isn’t training or working. Using her ninjutsu and taijutsu are of course a part of this, and bringing down a grizzly bear and butchering it for dinner is something she has done once or twice before.
A hobby of hers other than hunting would have to be watching professional wrestling. Mango finds herself enraptured with the storylines and plots happening in wrestling, but partly it’s just fun for her to watch the wrestlers do their fancy spinny moves on each other. There’s nothing as exhilarating as watching a moonsault or a lariat go off, or some other signature move. She’s practiced before on her own, but finding wrestling partners is more difficult than one would expect.
Drinking is also something she enjoys, having started as a habit of hers long before what the legal age was in Iwagakure no Sato. She drinks often, although never enough to get too drunk. She only drinks beers generally, finding other things too fancy and fruity for her tastes.
Since she has a hard time finding wrestling partners Mango often settles for sparring of other sorts instead. Simple taijutsu is incredibly exhilarating, especially when you’re in a match against someone who’s stronger and faster than you are. There’s nothing that gets her blood pumping like being punched in the face a few times, and she enjoys giving as hard as she gets.
Not one to hide her opinions, Mango enjoys complaining, and complaining loudly at that. It’s part of her general personality, which even extends to her sense of humor. To describe herself, Mango would be the type to say “If I fall down the stairs, it's embarrassing. I want people to laugh at me so at least we can have fun.”

Unique Abilities:
Seal-less Doton: Mango may choose to perform Doton Ninjutsu without hand seals. However, this is only gesture-less casting. Mango must still "charge" her chakra and follow the other "tells" or triggers such technique requires.
Doton Proficiency: Manga requires only half as many words to learn Doton Ninjutsu. In exchange, she requires twice as many words to learn Non-Elemental Ninjutsu.
Chakra Drain: Mango is capable of draining chakra from others as a result of the decade she spent working in chakra draining metal mines. This UA allows her to app techniques that can drain chakra, although those techniques leave her more open to receiving damage from chakra as well.
Without using techniques, she can choose to drain 5 chakra from someone by making physical contact with a them using her forearms or hands, although she has to consciously do so. This is able to be used through gloves and clothes, but does not extend to other tools or weapons.
Every time she makes contact, she can draw out chakra from a person (capped at 15 per person per post) or 15 chakra per person if she sustains contact the entire post. However, doing so opens Ikomiki up to increased damage (+1 rank of damage) from tangible chakra techniques for the rest of the post round. This is all elemental jutsu, and all attacks with tangible chakra, such as Chakra Flow and other such techniques. The amount that this UA allows for non technique absorption in a thread is capped at half of Ikomiki's base stamina cap, even if taken from multiple different people. This can not set her over her maximum pool of chakra either.
