Mission Name: The Bandits Strike Back

Mission Goal: Defend the Town
Description: A town in the Land of Fire managed to handle it’s bandit problem on it’s own, a noteworthy feat for a civilian populace. However some of the bandits survived, regrouped, and are preparing to assault the town with overwhelming force. Defend the town, remember your goal isn’t to hunt down every bandit, but just to beat back the attack.

A report of a small town requesting assistance found its way to the wandering Ronin, he was to go and help out in case there were further attacks. Masaru was surprised by the fact that the town was able to beat back the first attack by themselves, it's not everyday that civilians would stand up to one bandit let alone an entire troupe of them. His arrival at the town however could not have been timed better, as he was talking to the town's mayor about the fortification of certain areas they heard the sound of a trumpet. Masaru would turn to see a large horde of bandits storming across the land towards the village, it would seem as though the bandits did not appreciate their defeat and we're returning to get revenge. Masaru would smile as it would give him the chance to test out some new skills he had been developing, forming a string of handseals the ground beneath the town would begin to shake and shift as the man activated his Greater Earth Moving Core Technique. The ground was bent to his will on a large scale the first that happened was masaru himself would be lifted into the air as the ground he stood upon was raised up, the ground around the town was also raised creating a very thick wall of earth between the bandits and the village. This alone would protect the town and the civilians, at least for now, however it would not be enough of a deterrent to stop the bandits as they would try to figure a way through or over the wall. Masaru would smile as he waited for the bandits to get closer to the wall, he didn't have to kill them all but he wanted to make sure he got enough of them that they wouldn't try something this foolish again. As they drew closer to the wall masaru would form another string of handseals creating an explosion of lava to erupt from the ground on the other side of the wall, right in the middle of the attacking bandits. The screams of the bandits as their flesh melted away from bone spreading out from the point of eruption to the surrounding area, the wall of earth would be more than enough to protect the town from it however the bandits had no protection from the molten lava that pooled from the earth. Masaru chuckled as he saw the bandits who weren't immediately effected by the lava begin to turn and run, some would get away, others would not be so lucky. Still the town was safe.

Mission Goal: Eliminate the threat, permanently
Description: The assault on the town was successfully repelled and the villagers are safe. Now though the bandits need to pay for the attempt. The town will be in danger so long as this bandit group remains. Track them to their base and eliminate, take no prisoners.

With the town now safe from any immediate danger, Masaru would set out to track down those that escaped his lava earlier. It wouldn't be hard for him to track them down either, considering they were still within his eyesight though not close enough to worry about them seeing him. He watched as they entered a small encampment and a smile would form on his face, this would be easier than he thought. Masaru would simply did the same thing he did to protect the town, only in reverse. Forming a string of handseals the man manipulated the ground to his will forming a large wall of earth completely surrounding the bandits encampment, preventing them from escaping this time. Masaru would stand upon the wall, looking down to the bandits beneath him. "You have all been found guilty of an attempted assault against a sovereign town within the land of Fire, the sentence for which is death." He called down to the bandits below, pausing for a moment before adding. "A sentence that will be carried out immediately." Forming another set of handseals the man created another eruption of lava this time within the bowl of earth he had created, the lava would cover the ground within the wall of earth in a matter of seconds killing all that were within it. The bandit threat to the town was officially taken care of.

Mission Name: Bandit Leader Assassination
Mission Type: Assassination
Mission Rank: B
Mission Goal: Assassinate the Bandit Leader.
Description: A local bandit leader manaed to escape the massacre of his crew and looking to recruit new blood. He’d focusing on those with nothing left to their names. The desperate, the poor, those who would do anything. These people have done nothing wrong as of yet to warrant jail time except want food, shelter, and a warm place to sleep. Assassinating the bandit leader will take away this ill contrived meal ticket. Eliminate him and only him, any other deaths will result in mission failure.

Masaru had received word of something that troubled him greatly, it seemed as if the leader of the bandits from his last mission wasn't in the encampment during his assault on it. This man was now trying to form a new troupe by preying on the weak and desparate, Masaru could not allow this to take place. The man would take it upon himself to deal with the situation, as he felt it was his fault this was even happening. He should have made sure all of the bandits were in the encampment before it's destruction, however he had no way to know how many there should have been within the encampment. Still that would not stop him from blaming himself for the situation, and he would rectify this situation by taking the leader out personally. The men he had gathered were innocent and have not committed no crime as of yet, if he could take out the man orchestrating them then perhaps he could prevent them from continuing down that path. Masaru had the man's location thanks to the information so finding him would not be that hard, getting a good vantage point Masaru would set up to take the man out. He manipulated his steel release forming a bow and arrow to shoot the man without having to even enter the camp and deal with the other men, this would prevent them from interfering and possibly getting harmed. Masaru lined up the shot, loosing the arrow and dematerializing his bow would turn to walk away before the arrow reached his mark. His shot was true, he knew that he didn't need to wait around to see it happen. The sound of the commotion in the camp was enough proof that the man was dead, the job was done and with any luck these men will go their separate ways.
