Ryo to Burn

Kagura walked through the street, and even though it was only mid-morning, the crowds were already starting to pick up a little bit. She was looking for something specific, although she knew that she had probably passed by a lot of things she was going to wind up needing soon as well like ration pills, a backpack more than likely, and so on... but she had a decent amount of Ryo, and there was one thing she needed before any of that. Well, needed was probably the wrong word, but not something she was going to worry about. No, she needed her primary weapon, her first sword. She knew what she was looking for already, she just had to find it... and finally, after walking the street for nearly an hour this morning, she found a promising shop that didn't sell only katanas and other curved blades. Stepping forward, she eyed a Chokuto, looking at the 15,000 Ryo price tag and frowning.

She had the money for it, of course, but that was half of her total funds, and for a weapon that wasn't even the one she really wanted. She was going to have to find a blacksmith in order to order the one she really wanted, a replica of her mother's sword, an edged Rapier. It was a thinner straight blade with an edge on one side like a normal sword, but the blade was far thinner, faster and more accurate. The blade before her was simply the closest thing she had found that was even in the right ballpark. While she considered, she looked towards the shopkeeper. "Can I hold it, test it at all Sir?" she asked politely, pointing at the blade and not assuming it was alright to do so. The shop keeper wasn't so sure, considering the brunette didn't even had a head protector declaring her as an official graduate yet. The ceremony had been postponed for some reason, and she was merely trying to be prepared for when she found the teacher she was to be assigned to after graduation.

After completing a couple of jobs by now, Auro was confident that he can get what he needs plus some. Perhaps some armor or the like. In any case the first thing he needed was a weapon of some kind. After witnessing Akari's handiwork first-hand, Auro is tempted to try his hand with a blade himself. There was only so much the gentle fist can do, and against weapons unless certain techniques were used. Techniques that were too advanced for Auro to learn for now.

Auro is garbed in casual clothing of a simple white shirt and dark grey slacks. On his feet is a pair of brown sandals. Around his forehead is the headband with the steel plate that bears the Konohagakure sigil facing forward. His short silver hair shifted with the change of wind as the chime announced his arrival into the store. His seemingly pupil-less eyes of red scanned the room to locate the wares. He approached the racks without so much as a word being spoken from him.

There was an interesting selection of weapons, but most were unfamiliar in his hands. Except for this odd knife that is slightly curved like a talon. With a set of rings that allows the fingers to slip through, and based on how the rings seem to have an edge. They seem to be like a combination of a knife with brass knuckles. A curious brow raised on his face as Auro picks up the knife. Looking over at the shopkeeper, he noticed that the shopkeeper was busy with a brunette.

"Usually as long as you don't damage the stuff you're fine. Or at least, that's just how it goes for shinobi." Auro answered her question for the shopkeeper since he was taking too long to give a proper response. Can't really keep a lady waiting now can they?

The shopkeeper seemed to be considering it for a bit as another person approached, pointing out that it would have been perfectly fine if she had been a Shinobi.  Turning, she gave a gentle bow of her head, having noted the headband.  "Hello Sir.  I am technically graduated, but the Ceremony has been delayed.  Would that help in the decision making process?"  The shopkeeper still looked a little wary, but a little less than a moment ago, and then looked towards the guy who approached it.

"She breaks it, you buy it," he said towards the white haired man, proceeding to then turn his back and begin to work on something he was tinkering with behind him on a workbench.  He obviously presumed that since there was a legit Shinobi standing with the girl, who he had just empowered with the decision making process, there wasn't much of a threat of theft or damage anymore and could resume his project.

Kagura finally raised her head and smiled at the young man for a few moments, awaiting his decision.  She didn't have any paperwork to prove that what she was saying was the truth, only the unwavering conviction in her tone and the integrity that she always used when dealing with others.

Kagura suddenly realized that she had been in the market for far too long, and that she was going to be in trouble if she didn't get back to her parent's home and get the chores done for the day. Turning towards the young man who was trying to help her look at the blade she gave him a quick bow. "My apologies sir, but I just realized I have to go. Perhaps another time!" She wouldn't know if he accepted her apology as she quickly leapt to the nearest rooftop and made her best speed towards home.
