Giants, had the man not grown up in this land he would not have believed they existed. They were a common sight in the land of Earth, though rarely this far from the Cursed Valleys. It caused the man to wonder what it was that drew the beast so far from it's natural land, though the death of his subordinates had caused the man to care little about why the creature was there and more about how to kill it. Giants weren't your run of the mill bandits that he could cut down with his sword, they had a tough hide and usually carried a club three times the size of the man. Masaru had only faced a giant once before, long ago when he was just a chuunin. Before the fall of the village, in the good old days. Masaru had been dispatched with a team to deal with a giant who had been seen near Tsuchigaito, had it not been for their Jounin commander as well as the other members of his team masaru more than likely would have died that day. Masaru's thoughts would trail off to that day, the fear he had inside him and the pain he felt when the club struck him. His friends calling out to him, the taste of blood and then nothing. Nothing at all, no sight, no sound. Just masaru alone in the darkness, the next thing he knew he had woken up in the hospital. His teammates around himall smiling, despite their own injuries, happy that he was alive. Masaru's thoughts would turn back to the present when he felt the ground beneath him shake, and then again. He heard what sounded like thunder in the distance and with each crack of thunder the earth would quake. Masaru knew that despite what it sounded like, it was no thunder, but the sound of the Giants club striking down upon the earth. He was getting closer, Masaru would smirk as he formed the half tiger seal to help increase his speed. The closer the man got the more powerful the earth seemed to shake beneath the Giants strikes, rounding the mountain the giant would come into view as well as a small encampment. The giant swung his club down upon a stone cabin, crushing the building with ease. Masaru would waste no time, instantly activating his impervious armor the man would charge forward. He had learned from his last mistakes, he knew what needed to be done in order to kill this monster. He is stronger than he was the last time he faced a giant, and he was ready to redeem himself. Forming a string of handseals the man would attempt to use the binding shackles technique on the giant, but the cuffs weren't even big enough to reach it's arms. Masaru would curse under his breath as he was forced to dodge the Giants attack, barely getting out of the way in time. The man would form another string of handseals, this time he would hold the last seal creating his liquid metal from the ground beneath him shaping it into a giant Spike and drilling it into the giant. Piercing through the Giants body as the molten metal melted the tough skin of the giant with ease making the penetration easier and more effective. With the giant taken care of Masaru would turn his attention to the encampment hoping that they were not all dead like the Shinobi he had found.
