While Masarus away, Amaya Earns some Pay

Amaya stood in the office with a shocked look upon her face, did her father just say what she thought he said? The young girl would look to Hansuke with a look as if searching for a sign that she had misheard him, Hansuke would smile before saying, "it's ok you will do fine, I will help you." Amaya felt as though she would faint, had it not been for Hansuke being there for her she more than likely would have. The girl would question why her father didn't leave Hansuke in charge, and the old man would laugh stating his time was long past and her father knew that she could inspire the people of Iwagakure. After talking with Hansuke, Amaya would exhale a deep breath. Getting her bearings the girl would approach her father's desk, there had been many requests come to the Tsuchikage in the days since her father had taken over. While Masaru was dealing with the more pressing matters of the land, he was expecting herself and Hansuke to handle the minor things around the village. Amaya would look through the papers on the desk, after reading the first few she noticed most of this stack was minor chores around the village. Surely the two of them could handle these, she thought to herself before turning to Hansuke. "I guess we should just start at the top and work out way down?" More of a question than a statement to which Hansuke would reply, "That sounds like a grand idea. What's our first task?" Amaya would read over the top paper once more before answering, "it seems Mister Chou wishes for a fence to line his property, but can't do the work himself. His is offering to pay the village for help building it." Hansuke would nod and start for the door with Amaya following quickly behind him after placing all the papers into her bag, their walk from the administration building to the residential area would be nice and peaceful. The pair of them already well known in the village by their association with the Kage, friendly greetings from every passer-by and villager they passed along the way until finally they reached Mister Chou's house. Putting the fence together was a simple enough task for the pair to accomplish, as they stood back to admire their work however Mister Chou would approach the pair to make them another offer.

"What do you mean, you want me to paint the fence?" Amaya questioned the man, "Your request was only for putting a fence up, not painting it too. This will have to have a separate bill attached to it, you understand this right?" The man would nod before pulling out the ryo for putting up the fence as well as painting it. "Very well then, Hansuke. Let us paint the fence." The girl said with the obvious sarcastic joy in her voice, Hansuke would nod grabbing a paint brush himself and like they did with putting the fence up the pair began to tackle the task of painting the fresh picket fence with a nice white paint. By the time they were finished painting the fence it would already be well past noon, "What do you say, Hansuke. How about lunch?" Amaya would ask tiredly, "Of course Amaya, I would love some lunch." The man replied as him and Amaya headed to the nearby restaurant to replenish their energy.
