Yin-Yang: Transforms the weapon into whatever combination of black and white the user wishes. On contact, it negates all other Chakra Flow applied to the opponent's weapons, enchantments on their equipment, and can be used to deflect incoming ninjutsu targeting the user regardless of its radius respective to the weapon's size.
Dark: Turns the weapon into a three-dimensional shadow. On contact, negates opposing Chakra Flow or lower-tier Jutsu and replaces this boost with the Element negated, only dealing damage as though at B-Tier. Ignores one Grade of Armor.
Blaze: Ignites the blade in black flames. A-rank Fire damage on contact. This fire cannot be reduced or extinguished by anything that cannot do the same with Amaterasu.
Ice: Surrounds the entire weapon in Yuki Ice or corresponding Aura. User can choose between B-rank Ice damage or +1 Tier to Grade or Durability, and the opponent suffers -1 Tier to Speed when struck. Striking someone with E Speed with this effect freezes them solid.
Lava: Coats the blade in semifluid lava. +1 Tier to Grade or Durability (in addition to default), and on contact, splashes the opponent for B-rank Fire damage, which sticks and continues burning for 1 Tier less damage per post. New "splashes" do not reset the burning effect, instead adding new ones.
Storm: Surrounds the user's weapon arm with a small thunderstorm, requiring Sensor skill or B+ Perception to identify the weapon's location and movement. B-rank Lightning damage on contact, and numbness causing -2 advantages to Coordination for 2 posts.
Boil: Surrounds the user's weapon arm with a cloud of steam, requiring Sensor skill or B+ Perception to identify the weapon's location and movement. B-rank Steam damage on contact, and opponents with equal or lesser class to the user are Blinded (-2 Tiers of Perception) for 3 posts.
Explosion: There is no discernible change to the weapon's appearance. On contact, the user can choose to detonate their weapon for A-Tier Fire damage and push their opponent back with A-Tier Strength. This will destroy the weapon if it cannot withstand A-Tier Fire or impacts, causing it to inflict its Durability as Non-Elemental damage to everything in a radius equal to triple the weapon's length. In any case, the boost is still expended.
Scorch: The weapon becomes a lightsaber, or its respective type's equivalent. It automatically wins Durability checks against all equipment below S-Tier and inflicts A-Tier Fire damage on contact, automatically cauterizing wounds. If its base Durability is not A or higher, it disintegrates one post after being charged.
Crystal: Transforms the blade into Crystal. Increases grade or hardness by +1 rank (so basically +2 ranks on hardness/grade or +1 rank in each.). On contact, transforms the opponent's weapon, armor, or struck body part into Crystal.
Steel: Layers the blade with Chakra-enhanced Steel. Increases grade or hardness by +2 ranks (so basically +3 ranks on hardness/grade or +1 rank in one and +2 in the other.)
Swift: Increases the user's Speed by 1 Tier. On contact, reduces the opponent's Speed or Coordination by 1 Tier, unless they have Fire Release. Those whose Speed or Coordination are reduced below E Tier are effectively paralyzed.
Magnet: Surround the weapon in a powerful magnetic field. If the opponent is wearing or holding a magnetic material (such as Steel), the user gets +1 Tier to Strength and Speed when approaching or striking them, but both user and opponent get -1 to either when moving away.
Wood: Coats the blade in Senju Wood. Increases grade or hardness by +1 rank (so basically +2 ranks on hardness/grade or +1 rank in each.), and reduces the opponent's Strength of their swing on contact by -1 tier. This is not cumulative. Also, can be planted into the ground to produce a Senju Wood wall. A weapon used in this manner cannot be retrieved until the wall is dispelled or destroyed.
Dust: See Explosion, except the weapon is transformed into a cloud of dust that initially has its original shape, and is destroyed regardless of extenuating factors.
