Mission Goal: A local blacksmith is looking for assistance in cultivating weaponry and wants someone that can test them. They either need to wield the weapon for him or be strong enough to put the weapons through the wringer to really test their durability and edge. The smith will have quite the assortment of weaponry, so you'll need to be prepared for some hefty practice.
Payment: 25,000 Ryo
Requirements: 1 C-Class Ninja or D-Class Ninja with both Bukijutsu and Kenjutsu Skills.
Haruko would be given a rather simple task, a Blacksmith had requested the aid a Kirigakure Shinobi to test the new batch of weapons they've crafted. As someone who specialized in using swords, Haruko was given this task. But she wouldn't be alone, no, someone else would be given the same task. Her cousin Chigetsu. Despite being family, and Haruko literally having moved in with Chigetsu's mother, she'd never actually met him face to face. The Kaguya-Yuki Hybrid would make her way into the marketplace, where the blacksmith had their shop--hoping to meet Chigetsu there. Upon arriving the blacksmith was quick to smile to the short Shinobi, underestimating her skills with a sword by asking if she was up for the task.
This only managed to draw a quiet sigh from Haruko, as she took hold of one of the blacksmiths weapons, and promptly delivered three super close slashes towards the blacksmith, never touching him--but scaring the shit out of the man. He'd learn not to underestimate her...Them focusing on getting a weapon for Chigetsu to test. Haruko would produce her own weapon of bone, a simple sword much like the one she'd been provided to test....Haruko's icy hues watched without emotion as she would clash her own bone weapon against the blacksmith's latest masterpiece. One of them broke...and it wasn't the one made of Kaguya bone.
"...Hmm." she'd ponder a moment, looking at the broken sword, before offering what was left back to the blacksmith...whom simply stood with his jaw dropped at watching his latest work broken so easily. "Could use a bit more work...hope you have a nice day sir." she'd bow politely after handing the man his broken sword, still slackjawed he'd watch in silence as Haruko headed out to get her pay, waiting for her cousin before heading off so she could try to talk to him...although it'd likely just be an awkward silence between the two.
