Lion Sage

For hundreds of years the Lion Tribe has followed the Ryuutei, and the two have become one akin to family. However, it was not always so. The Lion Tribe originated atop a mountain far to the south, a massive plateau, hidden from the world full of natural energy. Ruled by the savagery of natural selection, of predator and prey, the life-force of powerful creatures covered the grand savanna hidden from the world's eye. The tribe bowed to none but their strongest leaders, whom earned their respect through combat and wisdom.

This changed one day, when Hakai Ryuutei, an ancient leader and founder of the Ryuutei, discovered the plateau. The day a human beat the head of the Lion Tribe was the day that the tribe decided they would follow this new 'Pride Leader'. As time progressed, the tribe and clan became allies, and then family. They shared their knowledge with one another. The lingering Bijuu chakra of the Ryuutei and the clans powerful Taijutsu was exchanged for knowledge that only a few of the clan could utilize.

The power of Natural Chakra.

Ten years after the integration of the clan, at the age of eigty-seven, Hakai Ryuutei became the first human Lion Sage in history. From that point forward, many signed the scroll, forming contracts with the Lion Tribe to call upon their aid in battle. Many more attempted to learn the power of Natural Chakra from the tribe, and as such many paid the price of an early death through transformation into blue flames. A painful, but quick death to be rendered to dust by one's own lack of chakra control.

There have been only three Lion Sages throughout the history of the Clan and Tribes union, until the day Satori Ryuutei, the newest head of the Ryuutei Clan, obtained the power as well.

At it's perfected state, the user will find that felines hold a natural enjoyment of your presence, assuming you cause them no harm and respect them. Your scent will be similar to that of a feline instead of a human to those that can catch such things. When one activates Perfect Sage Mode, their hair will turn platinum blonde, elongating and becoming more wild. Similarly, black markings will flow from their eyes, downward into the shape of two large fangs adorning their cheeks. Cuspids will elongate, and eyes will turn golden with a distinct lion-like pupil and shape.

At its imperfect sate, the user will find that their scent is more similar to a feline than a human to those that can detect such things. When sage mode is activated, their hair will extend and grow wilder. Hair will form into large sideburns on females, and full beards traveling down the throat on males, turning several shades lighter than normal. Dark circles will form under their eyes, which will turn golden with a distinct lion-shape to their aesthetic. All their teeth will turn to cuspids, and their primary cuspids will elongate by one to two inches. Often one's size will increase, gaining several inches of height and ten to twenty pounds of muscle.

Once one has become a Perfect Sage, they gain the ability to utilize the unique kata of the Lion Tribe. This ability allows the user to transfer their natural chakra outward to cover their entire body in a one-meter aura. This then forms into an invisible specter in the shape of a lion's upper body that greatly augments raw striking power, range, as well as allow for free control mid-combat to alter strikes and blows mid-attack. These clawed spectral limbs and its form cannot be sensed unless the target can also sense natural chakra, they cannot block but move at speeds equal to the user's Coordination, with physical power equal to their wielders Strength. This kata grants the user a ++ to Strength and Coordination when active.

Users of Lion Sage Mode are able to bond with their summons in order to have them gather natural energy for them. This systematically is identical to the other Sages reptile, gastropod and toad bonding. The summons will sink their claws into the host and use natural energy to bind their bodies together, the summons will then gather natural energy for their host.
