The killing of Tattsu Kotoshura, which Akari didn’t have enough information on. The redeployment of their forces now that Haku let all the countries that had once been held by Konoha go. Plus the day to day affairs of trying to keep the village progressing as a whole.
With no one leading the village during such times and when so much had to be done, it would soon implode in on itself. So someone needed to step into the limelight and take the seat. To be honest, Akari wasn’t at all the right person for the job, not yet anyway. Oh, she had the mind for the job. However she did not yet have the power that other kage’s had. The ability to command respect. What she did have was a flawless mission record that she intended to continue to add to, and a pragmatic approach to many things in life. She didn’t intend to stay at her current level either, but she would need to progress quickly. It was absolutely imperative that she did, for the sake of her home.
So without letting herself get lost within her thoughts any longer. Akari strode fully into the office, sitting behind the comfortable chair. The paperwork piles were stacked high, and it was a daunting task for many to handle. Akari simply created a shadow clone who sat in the chair opposite her and got it’s own pen. Then both started working, slowly working the paperwork pile down, balancing the finances of the village as best they could at this time. The word needed to get done after all, and it was time someone stepped up to do it.
