Mission Goal: Track down the smugglers and retrieve the stolen equipment
Description: Someone is smuggling equipment out of the village, kunai, shuriken, exploding tags, smoke bombs, you name it. Find the trail of the smugglers and track them to the stash of the equipment. The consequence for such a crime is a jail sentence that will last a long, long time, capture them.
Payment: 25,000
Requirements: C-Class or 2 D-Class
The Rokudaime Hokage, Akari Uchiha, was doing missions.
Of course she was, it was still an excellent way to make money, and it gave her more of a physical presence in the field which she hoped her shinobi would appreciate and take as a good sign that they would have a good Hokage now. The raven haired Uchiha was moving through the streets of her village, the construction crews were working day and night to expand the city into a sprawling metropolis. The smuggling operation that Akari was tracking was well hidden amongst such construction. Some of the vehicles that were supposed to be leaving empty to obtain new materials weren’t actually leaving empty.
She was following one such vehicle now, a wagon that came in filled with materials to be used and which would be used in rapid order. A heavy tarp was always slung over the wagons to ensure that none of the material was lost if the wagon bed jostled or moved around. The tarp was on the wagon, but Akari had been watching when it had been loaded with the kunai, shuriken, and other such items before. Now she would follow it to it’s meeting point and put this smuggling operation down.
The wagon led out of the village, not even searched since the guards knew full well it would be empty. She would take care of that later too, and she followed it. Moving over the wall and sticking to the trees as the wagon moved along the road. It wouldn’t take it long to drive off the road down a small beaten path and Akari followed it down, her sharingan eyes watching for sentries. Eventually they got to a rocky hill with a cave in it. The driver pulled the wagon up to the side and people came out of the cave and began to unload the weapons. Akari came out then. Her sharingan eyes capturing the image of every single man and woman helping with the operation. Other shinobi, her guard, came out and began apprehending them. They would all go to jail for a long time. “Get the weapons back into the village, ensure no one escapes.” She would say as she turned and left.
