Huh, back here again so soon. And yet he didn't feel to disappointed about that. Looking at the land before him, he'd set down his backpack filled with various odds & ends, including a fair amount of things he got during some of his missions as well as his several visits to the market. Overall he felt good about today, even if it was just another training session.

Digging through his bag he'd pull out one of his shuriken as well as a string he brought for this. He'd tie the string to the middle of the darn thing and begin swinging it around. He'd spin it back and forth, trying to move it around like a yoyo. "Honestly, if it weren't for the fact I was told to learn this I doubt I would've even bothered to learned this. Let's see, what was next? Oh yeah." Reeling the yoyo in he'd tie the string to his finger and begin tossing the shuriken, attempting to manipulate the darn thing. Slow progress that it was though, he could se he made some progress. "Maybe I should've learned some puppetry. They had those strings, right?"

Tying off the string he'd put the shuriken back and take a look at his scroll as a diminutive girl formed on his shoulder, his Id. "Gale Palm eh? I doubt with your current control you'd even be able to pull it off." Sighing he'd begin the hand seals, clap, then let the wind chakra flow over his body, focusing around the hands and other small parts of his body. Already he could feel the air resisting him less, but something still felt off. picking up Excalipoor he'd make a few swings, but already the effect had worn off. A jutsu that required a clap, yet was also meant to speed up the user or launch a projectile seemed contradictory. Oh well.

He'd preform the technique again, this time sword at his side. As soon as he clapped he'd go to reach his sword, but instead he'd just smack it away, not accounting just how much faster he'd get. "Troublesome, but useful. I'll have to see if I can come up with a way to merge that with body flicker."

Slowly releasing the chakra, he'd sit down and pull out a bag of sun-dried salami slices and munched on them like chips. His supiriors had told him he needed to get more protein in his diet in order to balance out his Yin and Yang, but he didn't mind. after all, meat is meat.

Taking the ribbon in her hand, and finishing off tying her hair. She'd then turn a bit in the mirror and make sure that her appearance and everything was in check. She wasn't during anything super important or anything today, she was merely heading out to train, but as the leader of her clan she always had to at least look somewhat presentable. She was quite literally the face of her clan, even if she left most of the decision up to the council of elders.

Once she was satisfied that her appearance checked out, she grabbed her haori from the back of her chair, and then her scarf and quickly headed out of her room within the main manor. The house that once felt so alive with father's meetings and people stopping by, had since become quiet and desolate with nothing but her grieving mother around. Still her mother did her best to keep herself, cleaning most of the manor out on her own and still doing her best to make Natsuki meals and such. However as Natsuki was getting up earlier and earlier for training purposes she'd typically make her own breakfast and eat lunch on her own, but then she'd come home and let her mother make her dinner usually and talk about her day. It was a nice way for them to remain close and heal a bit after the loses they've suffered.

Still, Natsuki had other stuff on her mind to focus on today. Today she needed to train, she was unfortunately quite a bit behind other genin within her class despite the fact that she was the leader of a clan. She honestly wasn't up to par with most of the shinobi in the village and that needed to train quickly. Because until she could get stronger her clan might be taken as weak and she didn't want anyone to think that of her family. So she needed to improve herself so that the image of her clan was stronger. She'd spend almost all of yesterday practicing genjutsu kai with one of the genjutsu specialist in the clan. She vividly recalled her current perception giving her the advantage in spotting genjutsu and such, but it didn't much to hinder it's effects on her. The training left her exhausted even if only after a small amount of time, but by the the end of it she could use the technique. Today she had a commonly practiced Kenjutsu and Taijutsu technique that fit right up her alley, but then she also had a few things that she wanted to work on herself.

The first technique was called moonlight, but before she could get to work on it she needed to set up a dummy so she could practice her techniques on it. Once she had the straw dummy set up, she quickly went to work, almost completely ignoring the other boy in the training grounds who seemed to be doing exactly what she was doing. If she remembered correctly the technique started by the user planting the sword in the ground and then using that as a pivot point to twist their body and deliver a strong kick. So Natsuki did just that. With her coordination it really wasn't a hard technique to get down. The problem was the application of the chakra and where and when she needed to apply it. She found that applying some chakra to her hand to increase her grip on the blade as she spun, and applying the rest of the chakra to her leg to deliver the kick was the most important aspects of the technique.

After she got that one down, it was time to begin work on her own techniques. to start with, Natsuki took a deep breath, focusing on her inner self as blue lightning began coursing it's way around her, as she charged herself with it. She could feel her muscles spasming and twitching which wasn't quite what she wanted. She needed to it be controlled. Once she got that down she took a step and... the jutsu ended. She let out an exhausted sigh and repeated the process once more, this time however her foot almost slamed into the ground, reacting much faster to her wanting to move it than she then she was used too. Natsuki did a few side steps to get used to the timing and eventually she was pretty comfortable with the technique. With that out of the way she was pretty happy with how that worked, so she decided to move onto the next phase while trying to keep this technique active.

For this Natsuki needed her katana. Once she had it in her sheathe next to her, she gripped the handle and took a deep breath. focusing intently with the breath to channel her inner Raiton and further amplify the Raiton coursing through-out her body. Raiton was noticeably cracking around her as she took this stance. then in a flash of lightning that would create a noticeable wave of air that would rush over most of the training ground, only those with a bit higher perception could actually perceive her movements for what they were, Natsuki rushes past the scarecrow-like training dummy and severed it's head, before skidding to a stop and sheathing her sword in place at a much slower rate than she was previously moving. Many of the other genin might just perceive her as a flash of lightning, and some of the particularly unaware might not have seen her move at all, just the sheathing of her katana as she was suddenly behind the training dummy, the lightning that was crackling around her stopping for only but a brief moment as she took another deep breath, and then another flash of lightning occurred, this one much more followable as she cut the scare crow completely in half.

Panting after all the work. Natsuki decided to take a break and merely fell over sprawled out over on the ground. The other boy she'd noticed in the training was eating salami at this point, and Natsuki's stomach growled a bit as she realized she could probably go for some food right about now.

Midway through his salami samba, both he and his annoying runt of an Id stopped to watch the girl near him. She had shown up right around the time he was doing Galm Palm practice, and while he was a bit jealous that she could pull a proper moonlight, that wasn't what made him stop. No, what caught his eye was whatever she just pulled off, as it looked like she had just pulled some sort of lightning-dash-thing. It certainly wasn't genjutsu, and as far as he was aware people couldn't just become lightning...right? I mean, he didn't know of a Kekkei Genkei that could do that. He'd have to look that up later.

But while the technique she did was certainly impressive, it was the ebony sword that caught his attention next. While he couldn't get a good look at it from the distance he was at, it cut a lot better then his own, and he wondered if it was some sort of heirloom passed down to her. Id He could hear Id chuckle, and immediately he'd lick his drool up quickly as he'd rather avoid another incident, yet the sword called to him like a child looking at a piece of candy. He'd slap his face a few times to and snap himself from thinking those thoughts. Not now, maybe later.

Getting up from his spot, he'd bring along both Excalipoor as well as his bag of salami as he made his way over to the mystery woman. He'd hold both behind him as he took a little time waddling over at a reasonable pace as he thought about how to greet her with Id. 'Hmmm, should I say a simple hi, or should I say something longwinded? I'd prefer the latter, but I doubt she'd stay awake long enough before she'd pass out from the sheer awesomeness of it. Hmm...'
'Why not make a joke or two?'
'...nah. I think I'll just be honest.'

Having just about made it over he'd look down at her, looming over with a big, dumb smile. Moving his sword to the salami hand he'd hold the free hand out in greeting."I don't believe we've met before miss. The name's Mōtimā, but you can just call me Mort. I think your sword skills are pretty cool, but you look like you need some proper protein in you. Want my salami? I can assure you it's quite filling despite how it looks." A small twinkle would appear on his teeth briefly, his smile having a bit too much teeth. His Id lost it as it realized what he just said, the small genjutsu manifestation chortling on his shoulder.

After looking at the boy Natsuki closed her eyes and decided not to think about the the sandwich knowing full well it'd just make her more hungry and she wasn't going to break for food quite yet. She still had a bit of training she wanted to finish up before she'd head all the way back into the market to get some food for herself. It was then a voice above her caught her attention and causing her to open her eyes and see the boy from earlier looming over her with his hand extended "I don't believe we've met before miss. The name's Mōtimā, but you can just call me Mort. I think your sword skills are pretty cool, but you look like you need some proper protein in you. Want my salami? I can assure you it's quite filling despite how it looks."

Natsuki's eyes would flick to the salami and her stomach immediately growled. She'd gulp in an attempt to control her mouth salivating. She'd take the boys hand and pull herself up into a standing position dusting off her haori and Kimono in the process. She could see a little girl on the boy's shoulder but just as she thought 'Surely that can't be real' as she couldn't sense any life form on his shoulder nor could any girl even conceivably be that size, the girl was gone. Natsuki merely shrugged not bothering to think about about what she just witnessed too much and whatever the girl was laughing at completely went over Natsuki's head as she returned her hand from the boy's and instead tied her hands around her back, leaning forwards only the smallest amount and a huge grin on her face as she "It's a pleasure to meet you Mort!" She'd say giving a brief pause before she continued "The name's Ryuzoji Natsuki! I don't have any cool nicknames like you" She'd say pausing in reflection for a little longer than comfortable then continuing "If you come up with one however I'm gladly go by it!" She'd say still smiling, her eyes then flicked down to the meat and her stomach growled once more as she simply got lost in thought staring at it.

She'd simply nod her head at the salami hoping that was enough to indicate she would take some. She'd like to have waited for lunch but she simply a small amount of droll coming off of her mouth. If he would give her some of the food, she's gladly take it and bite into it quickly, saying thank you with a mouthful of food.

Ah so this gal was real and not some manifestation of his mind this time! He'd help the blonde girl up, barely catching the quick shift in her eyes as his Id dissipated as the laughter now only echoing in his mind. He'd take a small step back as she leaned forward, something in the back of his mind telling shooting off signals of concern, yet it wasn't his instincts this time. "Hmmm, well I can't think of a nickname, but I shall strive to think of a good one!" He'd chuckle, unsure of how to proceed until her stomach grumbled. Fumbling a bit he'd give her the bag of dried salami. "Here. probably should have handed it to you sooner." If ever asked about how she looked in the moment of eating the dried salami and the gratitude that escaped her lips, he'd never admit that it was kinda cute.

Turning to not meet her eyesight out of respect, he  bring his now open hand to his chin as he tried to piece together something that wasn't clicking in his mind. Ryuzoji, Ryuzoji... where had he heard that name before? Wasn't the Natsuki clan famous for some thunder nature specialty? Or was it a hiden jutsu? Just like the Inazuma it wasn't clicking in any regard. Well he'd figure it out soon enough. Waiting till she wasn't scarfing down his, well now her snack, he'd pop a question to her. "So Ryu, how'd you come across that sword of yours? Did you defeat some powerful yokai and take it's treasure? What about conning a corrupt merchant into giving it you you? Or is it just a simple family heirloom?" As he spoke, he'd make small yet dramatic movements with his hands, almost as if he was on stage.

    ~Time Skip~

What a day what a day. What. A. Day. I mean, it wasn't every day you run into a clan head who's basically the same age as yourself. Honestly he couldn't imagine the sort of stress she was under, not the amount of work she was going to have to deal with. Nursing his aches and pains as he packed up, he thought about that clan again, the 'self-eating' clan as one of it's nicknames was ominous, and the more he thought on it, the name felt like it was hinting as something deeper below the surface. Oh well, if it mattered, he'd figure it out eventually.

Still, walking to the exit for the grounds he couldn't help but think about that sword again. If he was being honest with himself, he wanted to take it, reallly badly, but he just couldn't bring himself to do it. Something, something other then his Id was saying otherwise, and he was pretty sure it wasn't his conscience either. Something...something deeper. He'd have to ash the clan leaders about it, because whatever it was, it scared him a bit, as he'd only heard the voice once before. But that was for later. Right now, he just wanted a nice bubble bath.
