Portable Shop: A player may invest a sum of money and expect returns to a maximum of 5% per month. The player must roll a 1d10 to determine the outcome of the success. An outcome of 6-10 means that the investment failed and all of the money is lost, but an outcome of 1-5 means a successful investment and 5% of that money is paid to her once per month, permanently.
Appearance:
Standing at 6’2 Calin would be well within the average range of height for a member of the Kaguya clan. His stark white hair, pale complexion, and sapphire coloured eyes easily showing him as a member of the clan as well. Easily satisfying the xenophobic side of the clan. Calin generally wears simple kimono of cobalt blue colour with silver trim that gives him an almost regal look. He is quite obviously built for speed, flexibility, and power. Perfectly complimenting his families fighting styles. His hair is just long enough to fall into his eyes, falling easily to the power of gravity.
History: Born as the only child to Mitsuda and Amako Kaguya in the year 914 A.S. Little Calin was loved by his family. His father held the Xenophobic views of the rest of the Kaguya Clan and young Calin, born with his features, was the perfect son for him. Mitsuda and Amako raised Calin to the best of their abilities, making sure he wanted for nothing. The boys father made sure to instill the importance of the pureblood Kaguya into the boy. Those with similar features to his own. He trained the boy personally from an early age, getting the boys mental acuity, physical conditioning, and other such necessities up to par as soon as possible. This was to make sure Calin was ready to truly progress when he gained the ability to utilize his bones the way they were meant to be used.
His years in the Academy were dull, and long. Often times he would find himself playing mental games to pass the time and he went through the years in boredom. Of course he felt he was better than all of the rest of his classmates. Why wouldn’t he? He was from the Kaguya Clan, and was truly destined for great things within it. As such his mentality tended to be rather off putting for most of the other students. As he was always putting them down and acting superior. He maintained top grades throughout his schooling, which was only to be expected of him after all. His father was very proud of him, and he looked up to the man strongly. He continued to maintain the highest grades in his year until he graduated, becoming top of his class.
He spent the next few years working on a political education. Making sure he had the right mind to be a leader if the time came where he had to make decisions. When he asked his father why he had gone to the shinobi academy first and not gone through the political lessons the man reasoned that if he did the latter first then he would start the academy grossly overaged. Potentially showing a weakness in the boy and in the clan. Something which would not be allowed, whatsoever. Calin took the reasoning well and did not truly attempt to further his shinobi career until he finished said schooling. It took years, and finally, at the age of 17 he had finished. His father was extremely proud of him, and the young man was very pleased to have made his old man proud.
It was only a few days after his graduation that he got the news of his father’s murder. Shock quickly set in and was replaced, days later, by a cold rage. He had yet to truly develop his shinobi skills. Having not even tried to utilize his bloodline. However this changed nothing, for he swore that he would avenge the murder of his father. He had a name, which in it of itself was not much to work with. However it would have to be for the moment. He had time, his father hadn’t been weak by any means. So if he intended to kill his murderer then he would need to gain strength and quickly. One name repeated itself in his nightmares, one name was the beginning of a list that could grow to massive proportions. That name? Yanagi Kaguya.
Personality: Calin is extremely proud of his Kaguya blood. This pride at times reaches well past the point of arrogance and at times he can become a headache to those around him because of it. He can at times be demeaning to others, haughty, and unsympathetic to anyone not from his clan. Or of course, those within his clan whom those of superior births disdained. Those with off coloured eyes, dark hair, and darker skin. He often ignored these outcasts within his clan, not really caring if they wasted away.
After his father’s murder he’s become colder, more distant. Throwing himself in training and pushing away anyone who might stop him from reaching his goal. Those who look at his eyes tend to see a steely resolve within his cobalt irises, one that won’t easily be tempered. Hearing the name Yanagi will quickly send him into a frenzy. Often times berating anyone who utters the name near him unless they have information about the murderess who killed his father.
At times however his mood can change a bit, not by much. These days the teen is tractable enough to get into a conversation. Provided the person wanting to converse actually catches his interest enough to warrant it. Or is a pureblood within his clan. He’ll always make time, no matter the mood, to speak to a fellow clansmen.
