Shunko stands at 5’6, and weighing in at 138 lbs. Her chest covered in a Sarashi bound snuggly against her chest, and wearing a pair of red Kendo Pants. At her hips are two sword scabbards, with a Katana in each, and strapped around her legs within reach of the slit of the pants, are many holsters that are packed with weapons, as are her upper arm. And one holster strapped to each forearm.
Making her look like a living armory.
Her body is chiseled and honed from years of harsh living, her long red hair flowing like silk down to her mid back. Her bare feet calloused from the long road she’s traveled.
She wears a black eyepatch hiding the fact that she’s missing her left eye completely, her other is a strong, vibrant brown that shines with an intense inner fire. On her left arm is a Fuuin of a bird like design where she stores all of her other gear like a Fuuin Backpack.
History:
Shunko was born the little sister of Niko Kanuichi, but when their parents died. Rival ninjas who were responsible for their deaths nabbed Shunko, thinking her sister dead. And from that moment later she was raised treated as a tool, something to develop into the perfect killing machine for their aspirations.
The only part of their past they couldn’t remove? A crimson red baby blanket, with the last name Kanuichi embroidered on it. Regardless of what they tried, even as a baby. Her unbreakable resolution kept it with her, until they gave up trying. Instead punishing her, and training her more severely in an attempt to break her iron will.
As she grew older, her body and heart hardened by the harshness of their methods, not even given a name or identity. Just a living weapon to be forged. She slowly pieced together what happened, and at the age of 8 ran off to find her sister whom in her heart felt must surely be alive. And for the next 7 years wandered the harsh Land of Cloud landscape trying to find her, until eventually running into the Ninja Village of Kumo. Where a sole member there lived.
She didn’t have a first name, and her description was simply ‘she looked like her’. But she was going to find her birth family. Find out what happend. And hopefully get her life to where it should have been.
Personality:
Sugar and Ice: Her main personality that most get to see is that of a very reserved but angry looking person, who is distant to those around them, brutally honest, and without any sense of tact.
But those she opens up to, or when experiencing aspects of a “normal childhood” such a eating sweets, playing, near cute outfits, or those whom have earned her trust. She’s warm, compassionate, and would be willing to go to hell and back for that person.
But it’s not an easy shell to break.
[b]Can’t Lie: It’s less a mater of integrity for her. Even though she has that in spades. But rather, while she understands others can lie, and has mistrust towards most. She herself doesn’t see the point in dishonesty. It wastes less time to not have to keep a story straight.
But on the flip side. She’s brutally honest, and doesn’t sugar coat anything.
Resolute: She’s unwavering in her resolve. Once she sets her mind to it. There is no force that exists that can stop her from pursuing her goals. She never gives up, never quits, and will push herself beyond her limits to do what she sounds out to do.
