    History:
    A CRUEL MAN:
Five was always a rebellious child. His parents had been successful merchants so he had become rather spoiled at a young age. Anything he asked for was his on a whim. Five had grown rather accustomed to a lavish life style but his cruelty kept him from keeping friends. He didn't understand why fear and pain bothered them. Being near him caused even his parents to feel a shiver down their back. Looking into his eyes it was obvious he was studying you like one would study prey. As such eventually he was loaded down with teachers and trainers to enhance his mind and body but also primarily to keep him away from others. His parents focused more on the business aspect of their lives to avoid him as well. One day when he was still a small boy his parents had been raided on a profitable business journey and had not survived.

Many had concerns for the young lord of the manor. If he would be able to mourn them properly, if he would be able to get passed such a traumatic event. Much to their surprise and fear he cared little for their passing. To him they were just people who made his life possible. Little more than that as they had avoided him so well he hardly knew them. Instead now he could pursue more amusing careers. He found he had talents in the infiltration and assassination field shortly after graduating the academy. Taking pride in his work and loving the blood shed. He had no need to work as his families wealth would sustain him just fine but he rather enjoyed the work. So much so that he excelled at it and rose through the ranks. However soon it wasn't enough and he began to rebel against those giving orders.

One day on a mission he was simply supposed to observe and report he decided he could take the target himself. Assuming they sent him because the target was to die. He didn't however have knowledge of the targets relationship with the daimyo. A cousin that was stealing yes but not one the Daimyo had ordered killed as of yet. Simply observed. However in the thick of a cloudy night Five slipped into the bedroom of the target, sliding out his signature sharpened metal joker card he ended the man with one stroke. Leaving his card behind to show those who knew the white rabbit had struck again. Know this they did and the Daimyo was furious. In a rage he ordered the young man to be placed in the deepest and darkest cell in the prison. Left there to be forgotten.

Years passed as Five was forced to learn humility. Kept from the sun and any luxury. Living on molded bread and water. He kept to himself mostly and away from the other prisoners. He had no idea of time passing after a while. All there was to do was study medical journals left in storage. Sneaking in there whenever he finished one to access another. Unaware of the old Daimyo passing and forgotten where he was. That was until one day there was a prison break out. His sharp eyes watched as he waited. Patience had been learned now. He waited until he had the opportunity to put down a random prisoner and save the life of a guard. He didn't really care for the lives of either. However it did buy him one thing. A consideration for parole. In return for returning to the service of the village he would be allowed monitored freedom. It took a great deal for him to hide his joy. With freedom came ambition. Such a thing he could enjoy practicing. With patience of course as he is being watched.

    Personality:
    A SLY BUNNY:
Five is rather starved for human interaction but only of those who could prove interesting. He is a patient and cold man who likes to play games with those who talk to him. He lets off an aura of this beast filled with hunger sometimes while keeping a friendly face. A cruel man to his enemies and preferring to spread fear over actually accomplishing anything. He wants for little more than to be entertained. Those he finds boring he usually doesn't consider worth his time or effort. However delicacies are his weakness. Tasty food and drink are something he missed a great deal. Lavish surroundings are important to him. To appear beautiful like a butterfly is a patient mans game when he is actually the spider. Manipulating others is a game to him and little more. Still if someone catches his eye he can be relentless when it comes to gaining them by his side. If someone has what he wants he can't simply let it go. Rather he will wait for an opportune time to claim it for himself. The only love in his heart is for his own well being. Though if one entertains him he will endeavor to protect them.

    Roleplay Sample:
    GRAPHIC VIOLENCE WARNING:
Five had risen from his slumber again. He no longer kept track of time. There was only the dim light. A glow cast upon him that graciously was enough to read by. He had strained his eyes at first but these days it was simply the day to day. The cold still permeated the air around him. It was to be expected in an almost cave like underground such as the prison he was held within. His purple eyes shifted to the book on his chest. Worn and weathered by the damp air it had been exposed to for so long. He wondered idly if he was much the same. Kept from the sun for so long in this damp place he had become a damaged version of who he once was. His right hand lifted to stroke through his beard. Shaggy and unkempt. He remembered when he could still shave but the guards were no longer foolish enough to leave him with a razor. Another prisoner had crossed him at the wrong time and they discovered just what he could do with it. The prisoner had too but it was his final discovery. His right hand moved up to clear the shaggy mess of his hair from his face as he sighed. If not for the boredom he might have actually felt relaxed here. His purple eyes shifted to a bucket in the corner of his open cell. Where water dripped from above. It had a coppery taste but it meant he could do better than his water rations. Slowly another drop would fall from the stone ceiling. Provided by a tiny crack in its otherwise impenetrable defense. Drip...Drip...Drip... What a maddening sound. Yet it had become like meditation for him. Methodical and allowing him to clear his mind of frustrations.

He would close his eyes for a moment. The mattress...It was only a couple months old now and had begun to get more comfortable. They didn't allow him anything with springs obviously so it was just a flat and mostly firm surface but it was there because he had behaved. Instead of simply sleeping on rock he now had a bed. A luxury. He hated them still for it. Giving him such meager rewards like a dog. He had known comfort and wealth....hadn't he? It seemed like someone else's memory. One he might never enjoy again. Damn them all. Still despite his distraction his thoughts paused. There was another noise he hadn't heard before. Somewhere above him there was a commotion. Had he not been so alone down here he may have missed it. How odd. The guards were usually very demanding of order and silence. Harsh in their punishments. He would focus slowly. An old skill he used at times to see through some of the prison. There were wards there to keep him from seeing outside but within, within the walls there were far less. Slowly he opened his eyes as they glowed crimson. Standing out against the dim light in his cell. Slowly he would cast his vision through the stone. Navigating the old safeguards he knew well by now. Several energies slowly came into view. Madness became apparent on the floor above. The other prisoners were being naughty. Slowly he smiled. His aura flooding out of him like a cruel and hungry beast once more. How entertaining. Of course these men and women would be hunted and likely killed for this. However that wasn't to say he couldn't find opportunity. The guards were losing this match. They could be replaced of course but some good will could be earned here. After all he had been a model inmate.

Slowly he would rise from his bed. Calm and cold he would let his vision return to the present. His orange jumpsuit clung to him loosely. Idly he scooped up the book in his right hand. He had read this one before but now it had a new purpose. He would smile as his bare feet padded along the cold stone floor and up the stone steps. Soon the sounds of battle filled the air. The bars usually locked to keep him from moving up into the general populace hung ajar. A low excited growl exited his throat. Those bars hadn't been there for his protection but the protection of others. He stepped through the gateway and felt like a weight had been lifted. His aura filled the air around him as two prisoners looting one guard spotted him. As soon as they made eye contact with Five's red gaze they turned their heals. Fleeing as any base creature would before a predator. Three remained as they had cornered a guard armed with a sword. Each of them with a shiv but unsure how to approach. None wanting to take the cut for the victory. Weakness. One noticed him and called out to him. Referring to him as convict. The growl grew in irritation as the rest of it was lost to him. His name was not convict. The one who called out to him didn't seem to like being ignored as he moved in a threatening manner towards five. A foolish move. No one could foresee what happened next. Without so much as a glance to the man Five would step forward. His hand with the book in it slammed forward with a sickening crunch into the mans windpipe. He wouldn't speak again. Ever. The man gurgled as he gasped for air and found none could gather. Slowly he dropped to one knee.

Idly Five would reach out and pluck the shiv from the dying mans weak grasp. His eyes looking to the guard now. "When they ask who saved you, Remember the white rabbit." With that he smiled and looked to the other two. They were shaking and trying to choose between the guard and this stranger. Five would make that decision for them. The first he made eye contact with froze. From this terrifying red eyed man wraith like beings of himself seemed to peel from him like smoke. Where once was one now was two. He was unsure of what to do and that hesitation cost him. The shiv Five had collected flew from neither of the two but through them as the real five had concealed himself with genjutsu. Only now revealed as the crude, makeshift blade found its way into the right eye of its target. Flung accurately from where Five stood. The man screamed in pain as it hadn't gone deep enough only to be cut off as Five was upon him. His palm slamming the shiv in deeper. Until his fingers laid flat on the mans face and blood soaked his hand. The other one noticed the true threat there too late to save his ally. He too charged forward. Five would smile as he stepped to the side. "You shouldn't run with knives. It's dangerous."

With that he kicked the last man in the side of the knee bringing him down. His hand with the book slammed down on the back of the targets neck with a stunning effect. Dropping the book now Five reached down while his prey was still stunned. Taking the mans wrist that held the weapon in his right hand Five would grip his hair in his left. Pulling his head back before smiling as they made eye contact. He waited until the stun had almost worn off. That moment of fear and realization. The man knew he was about to die. He had no doubt. Five could taste it in the air before he ever shifted the wrist. Plunging the shiv in the last prisoners neck before yanking it violently to the side. Only then would he let the body drop. He would breath it in. This sweet taste of death. The sound of a sword shaking brought him back to reality as he smiled. The red fading from his eyes as he turned. Holding his hands up in a form of surrender as he lowered to both knee's. The blood of these men soaking the stone and his pants now. At least for once the stone was warm.
